Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally minutes from Poprad’s main square, but you’re not dealing with all the noise that usually comes with being so central. The train station’s close enough that you can easily catch connections to the High Tatras without any hassle. I mean, if you’re planning day trips to Spiš Castle or want to explore the mountain towns, you’re perfectly positioned here.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was larger than I expected, with this nice mix of modern comfort and Slovak character. What really struck me was how quiet everything was — you’d never know you’re in the center of town. The beds are properly comfortable (not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes get), and the bathroom actually has decent water pressure, which honestly makes or breaks a stay for me.
