The building itself has that clean, modern Slovak aesthetic that you see throughout this part of the country.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve set up each apartment — you’re getting proper living space, not just a cramped hotel room. The kitchen setup is actually functional (I’ve stayed in plenty of places where the kitchenette is just for show), with decent appliances and enough counter space to prep meals. You know what’s nice? Having the option to grab groceries from the local shops and make breakfast yourself, especially when you’re planning day trips into the High Tatras.

You’re walking distance from the main square and local restaurant options, plus the train connections to other parts of Slovakia are surprisingly good from here.

The staff knows the area well — they gave me solid recommendations for hiking trails that weren’t overrun with tourists, and pointed me toward a local bakery that honestly had better pastries than some places in Bratislava.
