La sat – Radu Dragu

The property was stunning with amazing views from the large windows. There was plenty of room in every bedroom and was spotless when we arrived. The barbecue and projector worked really well; Andreea was very welcoming and it was great value for money.

The house is spacious, has large sunny bedrooms, very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, large clean bathrooms, a very spacious living room that can accommodate even 10 people. There is a children's playground nearby with swings and toys. There is also a lovely and friendly dog at the location who loves spending time with people. The house has amazing views over the nearby hills and there's a lot of activities one can do in the area (sightseeing, monasteries, tracks in the hill, walking nearby). The owners are very friendly, kind and nice and they provide full description and guidance before arrival. One can also order food from the local folks in the area. Highly recommended accommodation!

The guide sent to us before arrival was something that felt special. Every additional question we had about our stay was quickly answered by the host. Even though we arrived quite late in the evening, everything was ready. The garden is a quiet area where the time slows down a bit. Traditional style of the houses in the backyard and the beautiful view of the hills are eye-catching. The interior is beautiful and modern, while the beds gives you the best comfort overnight.

What could be improved: There was a small inconvenient where we experienced an electricity blackout for about one hour, but it was not related to the property and something went wrong in the whole area. Despite the issue, the hosts reacted quickly and there's nothing to complain about.

Can't say anything nice because it was so disappointing and sad as overall experience. But for sure the house is nice. But that's the only thing.

What could be improved: Worst experience ever! We came home more tired and more sick than when we had left. The property did not have water for two days out of four and there was a permanent dense smoke everywhere in the village, not exactly idylic escape from the city.

We could not take a shower for two days and we had to use bottles of water to evacuate our waste. With three small kids with a stomach problem and a nanny during her period, it proved to be very challenging to get rid of poop and blood. The toilets were permanently dirty and stinky. No matter how much water we put in.
Could not use the dishwasher, nor bath the kids, washing their hands. Most probably that's why they got sick.
We hadn't left because the owners said it will last only until the afternoon, but in the end it lasted 24h first time and again even in the last day we had no water.
The owners offered another night, as a compensation, but we could not stay without water for another day. But, honestly, except for the house, which is really nice, there is nothing of much interest in the area.
While it is sad that the villages are left with no water, because of the draught, they also don't take care of the environment. During all our stay, there was a permanent dense smoke coming from all the neighbourhood burning leaves and household waste (plastic too). It caused us to cough a lot during the night.
Also in the house, the wood they were using on the fire, it had metal bolts in it, which again is not very okay.
Maybe it really made us see how we are constantly harming the environment and really feel the consequences...and that was sad.
In case you still want to go, do not choose the bedrooms on the left side as you go up, unless you want to hear a rooster singing from 1am to 9am non stop, because yes, you might find it very authentic :) but you won't sleep very well. Plus a dog with a good deep bark.
It was an authentic experience! But would never recommend it to my friends.
