Sadyba Margaryta sits quietly on Richky Street in Truskavets, and honestly, I almost walked past it at first — it’s got this understated charm that doesn’t scream for attention. The building has that classic Ukrainian guest house feel, but you can tell they’ve put real thought into keeping everything spotless and welcoming. There’s something refreshing about a place that lets its four-star quality speak for itself rather than trying to impress you with flashy signage.

The Neighborhood Feel

What I really appreciate about this spot is how it captures the essence of Truskavets without being right in the tourist chaos. You’re close enough to walk to the famous mineral springs — maybe ten minutes if you’re taking your time — but far enough away that you actually get some peace in the evenings. The street itself is lined with these beautiful old trees, and I found myself enjoying the short stroll to the pump room each morning more than I expected.

The rooms here are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than fancy. Everything works perfectly — the Wi-Fi is solid, the beds are genuinely comfortable, and there’s enough space to spread out without feeling like you’re rattling around in an oversized suite. I mean, after a day of spa treatments and mineral water tastings, you just want somewhere clean and quiet to recharge, right? The owners clearly get that.

They’ll give you real recommendations — not just the obvious tourist spots, but places where locals go for good Ukrainian food or the best times to visit the springs when they’re less crowded. There’s this family-run restaurant about three blocks away that they pointed me toward, and it ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip.
