You’re also perfectly positioned for exploring the Tatras — Zakopane is just a short drive away when you want the bigger mountain town experience, but you get to return to this quieter, more genuine base. The thermal baths in Chochołów are literally walking distance, and trust me, after a day hiking in the mountains, those hot springs hit differently.
