My room was honestly bigger than I expected, with a balcony that looked out toward the mountains — though I should mention not every room gets that view, so it’s worth asking when you book. The design is pretty understated, lots of natural wood and neutral colors that don’t compete with what’s outside your window. The bed was one of those that you just sink into after a day of hiking, and the bathroom had this rainfall shower that felt pretty indulgent.
Food and Dining
The restaurant surprised me, actually. I mean, you don’t always expect great food at wellness hotels — sometimes they get so focused on “healthy” that they forget about “tasty.” But they’ve managed to do both here, with this menu that features local Slovak dishes alongside lighter wellness-focused options. Breakfast was solid too, with enough variety that you’re not eating the same thing every morning if you’re staying for several days.
