The hotel sits right on the main square — though “square” makes it sound grander than it is — but you’re genuinely in the heart of authentic Slovakia here. I mean, you’ll hear more Slovak than English, which I actually found refreshing.

My room was simple but surprisingly well-maintained, with those thick wooden beams overhead that remind you you’re staying somewhere with character. The beds are comfortable enough, and while the bathroom isn’t going to win any design awards, everything worked perfectly.
