Walking up to the second floor of a building on Martina Rázusa street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from Stayin365. The entrance is pretty understated — you know, no fancy lobby or doorman — but honestly, that’s part of what makes this place feel authentic. It’s one of those apartment-style accommodations that locals seem to actually know about, which is always a good sign when you’re exploring Trenčín.

What struck me immediately was how much thought went into the layout of my room. This three-star property doesn’t try to be something it’s not, but the attention to detail is genuinely impressive. The kitchenette area is compact but functional — I mean, you can actually cook a proper meal here, not just heat up instant noodles. The whole space feels like someone’s well-designed city apartment rather than a typical hotel room.

Location Insights

Here’s what I discovered about the neighborhood: you’re really in the heart of things without being on some touristy main drag. Trenčín Castle is an easy walk uphill, and the old town square is literally a few minutes away on foot. But what I appreciated most was being near where locals actually live and work — there’s a genuine bakery around the corner, and the guy running it actually remembers your coffee order after a couple days.

What Makes It Work

The 9.7 rating starts to make sense once you settle in. Everything just… functions properly, which sounds basic but isn’t always guaranteed. The Wi-Fi actually works for video calls, the shower has decent water pressure, and there’s proper parking nearby (trust me, this matters in Trenčín’s old town area). I stayed for five nights, and honestly, the consistency impressed me more than any single standout feature.

Why Guests Love It

After talking to other travelers in the building — yeah, you’ll bump into people in the hallway and actually have conversations — it’s clear that Stayin365 attracts a specific type of visitor. People who want to experience Trenčín like they’re temporarily living here rather than just passing through. The kitchen setup means you can shop at the local market and prepare your own breakfast, but you’re also steps away from that excellent Slovak restaurant on the corner that doesn’t even have an English menu. It’s that balance between independence and local immersion that seems to really click with people.
