The location on Tatranská street puts you right in the heart of the High Tatras region, which means you’re surrounded by some seriously impressive peaks. I mean, you can literally see the mountains from most windows — not just glimpses, but proper dramatic views that change throughout the day. The village itself is small enough that you’ll figure it out in about ten minutes, but it’s got everything you need without feeling touristy.

The Accommodations

My room was spacious and had this modern-meets-traditional thing going on that actually worked. The wooden accents felt genuine rather than forced, and the bathroom was surprisingly well-appointed for what’s essentially a mountain lodge. The beds are properly comfortable too — I slept better here than I have in some five-star places, honestly.
