I mean, you can still get a decent coffee and there’s actually decent WiFi throughout the property. The stream running alongside creates this constant, soothing background noise that beats any white noise machine.

The Accommodation Experience

My room had this cozy mountain vibe with wood accents and windows that actually opened wide — you know how rare that’s becoming these days. The bedding was surprisingly high-quality for a mountain lodge, and the bathroom was modern without feeling out of place. What I really appreciated was the little seating area by the window where you could sit with morning coffee and just watch the forest wake up.

The on-site restaurant serves hearty Slovak fare that hits the spot after a day of hiking or exploring the region. They do this incredible goulash that’s perfect when the mountain evenings get chilly — and trust me, they do, even in summer. Parking is right there, which might sound trivial until you’ve stayed at mountain places where you’re hauling luggage uphill for ten minutes. There’s also a small wellness area with a sauna that’s perfect for unwinding, though it’s not huge so you might want to check availability.
