Here’s what’s actually great about staying on Strada Voinei — you’re close enough to Hunedoara’s main attractions without being stuck in the tourist chaos. The famous Corvin Castle is just a few minutes away, which means you can easily walk there in the morning before the tour groups arrive. The surrounding area is quiet, mostly residential, so you’ll sleep well even with the windows open.

My room was honestly impressive for the price point. Clean lines, comfortable bedding, and — this surprised me — really good water pressure in the shower. The spa facilities are where this place really shines though. I mean, after a day of exploring castles and hiking around the region, that sauna hits differently. The wellness area feels much more upscale than you’d expect, and it’s never overcrowded.
Dining Experience
The on-site restaurant serves solid Romanian cuisine with a modern twist. I had their mici one evening, and while it wasn’t groundbreaking, it was well-prepared and reasonably priced. Breakfast was actually quite good — fresh pastries, local cheeses, and decent coffee. Nothing fancy, but they clearly put effort into sourcing quality ingredients.
