I mean, you can literally walk to the Nová Hoľa ski lift in about three minutes, which is huge when you’re carrying all that gear. During summer, those same slopes turn into incredible hiking trails, and honestly, the wildflower meadows up there in July are something else. The village itself is small but has that authentic Slovak mountain feel without being touristy.

Some rooms have little balconies where you can sit with morning coffee and watch the mist roll through the valleys below.
