Here’s what you need to know about the location — you’re about 15 minutes from the main Liptovská Sielnica area, but that’s actually perfect because you get the mountain tranquility without being completely isolated. The resort sits right next to hiking trails that connect to the larger Low Tatras network, and I mean right next to them. You can literally walk out your door and be on a proper mountain path within five minutes. In winter, there’s decent access to local ski areas, though you’ll need to drive a bit.

Dining and Relaxation

The restaurant serves solid Slovak mountain cuisine — nothing fancy, but the goulash and local trout dishes hit the spot after a day of hiking. What I really appreciated was their sauna facility, which becomes essential after those longer mountain excursions. It’s not huge, but it’s properly hot and has that authentic wood-fired feel. The wellness area also includes a small pool, which honestly feels great even if it’s not Olympic-sized. Parking is never an issue here — plenty of space right by the chalets.
