My room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the surrounding hills perfectly. The minimalist décor works really well here — there’s something calming about the neutral tones and uncluttered space after a day of exploring. What I appreciated most was the attention to comfort; the bed was firm but cozy, and they’d thought of little things like USB charging ports right where you need them and blackout curtains that actually block out light.

Location and Getting Around

Bezdead might not be on every traveler’s radar, but that’s exactly what makes Vila MOON special. You’re about 30 minutes from Brașov, which means you can easily day-trip to the city or hit the nearby ski slopes, but you get to return to this peaceful spot each evening. The village itself has a few local spots worth checking out — there’s a small restaurant down the road that serves excellent ciorbă de burtă if you’re feeling adventurous.

Service and Amenities

The staff here genuinely seem to care about your stay, which you notice in small ways throughout your visit. They’ll give you solid recommendations for hiking trails (the one to Omu Peak is worth the early start), and they’re happy to arrange transportation if you don’t have a car. The property has secure parking right on-site, which is honestly a relief when you’re traveling with luggage and don’t want to hunt for street spots.
