It’s one of those boutique hotels that actually earns the title, where someone clearly cared about every detail without making it feel precious.

The Setting

Honestly, Slavske isn’t on most people’s radar, which is exactly why TiERRA works so well. You’re about 20 minutes from the main ski slopes, but far enough away that you escape the crowds and the noise. The hotel sits in this quiet spot where you can actually hear the wind in the trees — sounds cheesy, but it’s true. During winter, the place transforms into this snow-covered retreat that feels almost fairytale-like, while summer brings hiking trails right from your doorstep.

The Room Experience

My room was small but thoughtfully designed — everything had a purpose, nothing felt wasted. The windows are huge, which matters when you’re surrounded by mountains like this. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stayed, even with other guests around. The heating actually works properly (not always a given in this part of Ukraine), and the bed was comfortable enough that I slept through my alarm twice.
