Walking into T9 Zakopane, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the unassuming exterior on Tuwima Street. But you know what? This four-star place completely surprised me. The lobby feels warm and modern without being stuffy, and the staff actually remembered my name after the first conversation — something that’s become pretty rare these days.
Location & Getting Around
The hotel sits just a short walk from Krupówki, which is basically Zakopane’s main strip where all the action happens. I mean, you’re close enough to grab those famous oscypek cheese rounds from street vendors, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 2 AM. The Tatra Mountains loom right there in the background, and honestly, waking up to that view never gets old.
The Room Experience
My room was surprisingly spacious for a mountain town hotel — clean lines, plenty of storage, and a bathroom that actually had decent water pressure (trust me, this matters after a day of hiking). The beds are properly comfortable, not just hotel-marketing comfortable. What I really appreciated was the balcony; not every room has one, but if you can snag one facing the mountains, it’s worth the extra euros.
