Siedlisko Kościelisko Overview
First Impressions
Siedlisko Kościelisko sits tucked away in the village of Kościelisko, and honestly, the moment you pull up the winding road to Gronik 25, you know you’ve found something special. This four-star property feels more like stumbling upon a well-kept family secret than checking into a typical hotel. The traditional Polish architecture blends so naturally with the Tatra Mountains backdrop that it almost seems to have grown from the landscape itself.
Location & Mountain Access
What I love about this spot is how it puts you right in the heart of Poland’s mountain country without the tourist chaos of Zakopane. You’re maybe ten minutes from the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch, but the village itself maintains this quiet, authentic feel that most visitors never discover. The local hiking trails literally start from the hotel’s doorstep — I mean, you can be on a proper mountain path within minutes of leaving your room.
The Accommodation Experience
Each apartment here feels thoughtfully designed rather than cookie-cutter corporate. The interiors mix modern comfort with regional touches — you’ll find hand-carved wooden details and local textiles that actually mean something to the area’s heritage. The kitchenette setup works perfectly if you want to prepare simple meals, especially useful after a long day on the trails when you don’t feel like heading out again.
Dining & Relaxation
The on-site restaurant serves mountain cuisine that goes beyond the typical tourist fare — they source ingredients locally and the pierogi alone are worth the stay. After hiking, the spa facilities provide exactly what your muscles need, though it’s more intimate and personal than those massive hotel complexes. There’s something refreshing about unwinding in a space that doesn’t feel like a factory.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.3 rating, guests consistently mention how the staff treats you like family rather than room numbers. The parking situation is straightforward — no circling blocks looking for a spot like you’d face in busier mountain towns. What really sets Siedlisko Kościelisko apart is this balance between accessing serious mountain adventures and returning to genuine Polish hospitality each evening. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to spend time at the property, not just use it as a place to crash between activities.

Guest Reviews
Great location, very quiet and relaxing, at the same time close to mountain hike trails. We loved the area and especially the farm with sheep and highlander cows just next door. Easy access to Zakopane and a very friendly owner. We hope to be back...
Everything was just perfect :) perfect location, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, amazing view and soo friendly host :) highly recommend. I will come back for sure !
Beautiful setting (we saw a stunning sunset while having a glass of wine on the benches outside), nicely renovated apartment and easy check in process. It’s a lot calmer here than in Zakopane which was a big plus.

Very nice location on a beautiful hillside. Small apartment was quite freshly renovated and the owner was super nice.
What could be improved: The stairs to bedroom was a bit steep for my liking.
The place is very beautiful and wonderful. It is worth a visit. Everything a tourist needs is there with a wonderful view. The owner was very nice and helpful with us.

What could be improved: NA
The place is incredibly quiet and peaceful, offering a sense of discretion. The kitchen was equipped with nearly enough tools for cooking. Outside the house, a breathtaking view of the mountains and every shade of green welcomes you. What could be...
Underfloor heating, well layed out, had everything we needed, good views of the mountains and friendly owner. Easy to find What could be improved: Need extra pillows, stairs a little too steep, okay for us in our 30s but older people may struggle....
Sielskie miejsce z dala od zgiełku, w otoczeniu natury. Można naprawdę odetchnąć.
