Penzion Stella sits quietly on Solné street in Luhačovice, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This three-star guesthouse doesn’t try to be flashy — instead, it nails the basics that actually matter when you’re exploring this famous spa town. The building has that clean, understated Czech pension style that locals seem to prefer, and after staying here, I get why.

Location & Getting Around

You’re basically in the heart of Luhačovice’s spa district here, which means those famous mineral springs are just a short walk away. I mean, you can literally stroll to the main colonnade in about five minutes, maybe less if you’re eager for your morning cure. The parking situation is straightforward too — there’s space available, which isn’t always a given in these older spa towns where streets can get pretty narrow.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was clean and well-maintained, with that practical European approach to hospitality. Nothing fancy, but everything worked perfectly — decent Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, and a bathroom that’s been updated without losing the pension’s character. The windows actually open properly (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), so you can get that fresh Moravian air flowing through, especially nice during those warm summer evenings.

Dining & Local Flavor

While Penzion Stella doesn’t have its own restaurant, that’s actually worked in my favor. The staff knows the local dining scene really well, and they’ll point you toward some genuine Czech spots that tourists often miss. There’s a great traditional place just two streets over where the goulash is exceptional — the kind of local knowledge that makes a difference when you’re trying to eat like the locals do.
