Location & the Danube Experience

What really strikes you about this place is how it sits right on Dunării street, which basically means you’re as close to the Danube as you can get without sleeping on a boat. Eşelniţa isn’t exactly a household name, but that’s actually the point — it’s this peaceful riverside town where locals still wave at strangers and the pace just naturally slows down. You know what’s pretty cool? The Iron Gates Natural Park is practically next door, so if you’re into hiking or just want to see some seriously dramatic river gorges, you’re already there.
