Walking up to Panorama Zakopane by Golden Villas, you immediately understand why they chose that name — the views from this four-star property are honestly spectacular. It sits on Broniewskiego street in a quieter part of Zakopane, which I actually preferred since you’re away from the main tourist chaos but still close enough to walk into town. The building itself has this modern mountain lodge feel that works really well against the Tatra backdrop.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Here’s what I loved about the location — you’re positioned perfectly for both mountain access and town exploration. The cable car to Gubałówka is literally a five-minute walk, and trust me, that matters when you’re carrying ski gear or just don’t want to deal with parking up there. Meanwhile, Krupówki (the main pedestrian street) is about a 10-minute stroll, so you get the best of both worlds without the noise.

The Room Experience

My room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the mountains beautifully. The decor strikes this nice balance between contemporary and cozy mountain style — think clean lines but with warm wood accents. What really impressed me was the attention to practical details: plenty of storage for winter gear, a decent work area if you need it, and a bathroom that actually has good water pressure (you’d be surprised how rare that is in mountain hotels).
