I mean, there’s a small grocery store two blocks away where locals shop, and the main pedestrian area with its cafes and restaurant options is maybe a seven-minute walk downhill.

The Room Experience

My room faced the mountains — and you know what, that view actually lives up to the hotel’s name. The space felt thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together, with local wood accents and this really comfortable reading chair by the window. The bathroom was compact but well-planned, with heated floors that I definitely didn’t expect but was grateful for during my October visit.

Breakfast happens in this bright space on the ground floor, and they do a proper Romanian spread alongside the usual European items. The staff genuinely seemed to know their regulars — I watched them chat with a German couple who’d apparently been coming back for three years running. There’s parking right on-site too, which honestly saved me a lot of stress since Sinaia’s streets can get pretty narrow and crowded during peak season.
