Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally minutes from the Tatra National Park trails, but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. Kościelisko is one of those Polish mountain villages that hasn’t been completely overrun by tourism yet, so you get proper local restaurants and shops within walking distance. The famous Krupówki street in Zakopane is just a short drive if you want the full tourist experience, but honestly? You might not need it.
The Room Experience
My room had these huge windows that frame the mountains like a postcard — except it’s real and changes with the weather throughout the day. The interiors blend modern comfort with mountain style, and I mean that in the best way possible. Everything works properly (you know how that can be hit or miss in mountain hotels), and the beds are actually comfortable enough that you’ll sleep well after a day of hiking.
