First Impressions
The Luxurious apartment in the heart of Poprad sits right on Mnoheľova Street, and honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better spot. When I first walked up to the building, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a apartment rental — but this four-star place definitely surprised me. The entrance feels more boutique hotel than typical vacation rental, which sets the tone nicely.
Location & Getting Around
You know what I love about staying here? You’re literally in the center of Poprad, so everything’s walkable. The main square is maybe three minutes away, and there are these little cafes and shops scattered around that most tourists miss. I mean, you can grab fresh pastries from the local bakery right around the corner — something you’d never find if you were stuck out by the highway hotels. The train station’s close too, which makes day trips to the High Tatras mountains pretty straightforward.
The Space Itself
Inside, the room layout actually works really well for travelers. There’s a proper kitchenette (not just a mini-fridge situation), so you can store groceries and make coffee the way you like it. The living area has this comfortable seating setup where you can spread out your maps and plan hiking routes — or just relax after a long day exploring. The bedroom feels separate enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re living in one cramped space.
Local Neighborhood Feel
What struck me most was how this place lets you live like a local rather than just passing through. The nearby restaurant owners start recognizing you after a couple days, and there’s this great little grocery store where the staff will help you figure out Slovak products. I actually ended up having some of my best conversations with locals just walking around this neighborhood in the evenings. The streets are quiet enough that you feel safe, but busy enough that there’s always something happening.

Look, this isn’t trying to be some fancy resort experience — and that’s exactly why it works so well. You get the independence of having your own space, but with the reliability and service standards of a four-star place.
