The building itself is unassuming from the street, but once you’re inside, you realize someone put real thought into making this work.
The Space
What you’re getting here is essentially a well-designed studio apartment that feels more like staying at a design-savvy friend’s place than a typical hotel. The room layout is smart — they’ve maximized every inch without making it feel cramped. The kitchenette is actually functional (not just decorative like some places), and I mean, having your own coffee setup when you wake up is pretty much essential in my book.
Location Reality
Drobeta-Turnu Severin isn’t exactly on everyone’s radar, but that’s part of what makes this place special. You’re close enough to the Danube that you can actually walk down and watch the river traffic, which is more interesting than it sounds. The Iron Gates area is right there too — those Roman ruins at Drobeta don’t get the attention they deserve. Being on Ion C. Brătianu means you’ve got decent access to the city center without being stuck in whatever passes for tourist chaos here.
