The train station is close enough that you can hear the occasional whistle, but it’s not disruptive. Actually, there’s something kind of nostalgic about it.

My room was on the second floor — no elevator, just so you know — and it had this interesting mix of traditional Slovak touches with modern updates. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious for an older building, and the shower had proper water pressure (always a concern in historic properties).
