The Room Experience
My room was exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star place — comfortable bed, decent-sized bathroom, and everything worked properly. The furniture’s contemporary without being flashy, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stayed at night, even though we’re talking about a small Slovak town where noise isn’t usually an issue anyway.
Location & Getting Around
Nová Dubnica isn’t exactly a tourist hotspot, but that’s sort of the point if you’re exploring this part of Slovakia. You’re about 20 minutes from Trenčín by car, which gives you access to that beautiful castle and the Váh River area. The hotel provides parking right on-site, which is actually pretty convenient since you’ll want a car to explore the surrounding Trenčín region properly.

The hotel has its own restaurant downstairs, and I mean, it’s fine — standard Slovak fare with some international options thrown in. Nothing revolutionary, but the portions are generous and prices are reasonable. What’s better is walking into town center, maybe 10 minutes away, where you’ll find a few local spots that serve proper Slovak comfort food.
