Here’s what’s actually useful to know: you’re about 15 minutes from Liptovský Mikuláš center, but that’s not really the point of staying here. The resort sits right at the base of Chopok mountain, so if you’re planning to hit the slopes at Jasná ski resort, you’re basically already there. During summer, those same trails turn into hiking and biking routes that’ll keep you busy for days. There’s parking on-site, which you’ll definitely need since this isn’t really a walk-everywhere kind of location.

My room had this perfect balance — modern enough that everything worked properly, but with warm wood touches that reminded you you’re in Slovakia, not some generic hotel chain. The beds are actually comfortable (you know how that’s not always a given), and the bathrooms are well-designed with good water pressure. Some rooms have balconies with mountain views, and honestly, if you can swing it, get one of those.
