The ground-floor apartment setup means you get your own private entrance, and there’s something really satisfying about having your own key rather than fumbling with hotel cards.

The parking situation is straightforward — there’s space right outside, which anyone who’s driven in Romanian city centers will appreciate. What I didn’t expect was how quiet everything stayed, even though we’re talking about a ground-floor space on a residential street. The owners clearly thought about soundproofing, or maybe I just got lucky with particularly considerate neighbors. Either way, I slept better here than I have in some much pricier places.
