I mean, the name itself hints at the minimalist approach they’ve taken here, and honestly, it’s refreshing after seeing so many over-the-top alpine lodges.

Slavske might not be on everyone’s radar yet, but that’s exactly what makes Grey Hous special. You’re right in the heart of this charming Carpathian town, where locals still nod hello on the street and the pace feels wonderfully unhurried. The ski slopes are a quick walk away, but you know what I love most? In the evenings, you can actually hear the mountain silence — no traffic, no city buzz, just the occasional sound of someone chatting in Ukrainian drifting from a nearby café.
