I’ll be honest — when I first pulled up to Górskie Melodie, I wasn’t expecting much from the address alone. But this four-star property in Kościelisko completely changed my perspective on what a mountain getaway should feel like. The building has this warm, inviting facade that immediately tells you you’re somewhere special, nestled right in the heart of the Tatra foothills.

Location & Mountain Access

You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally minutes from Zakopane’s main attractions, but far enough away to escape the tourist crowds that can get pretty overwhelming in peak season. The location on Rysulówka gives you easy access to hiking trails — I mean, you can practically step out the door and start exploring the lower Tatra slopes. If you’re planning to hit Kasprowy Wierch or Gubałówka, you’ll appreciate not having to deal with the parking nightmare in central Zakopane.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this perfect balance of modern comfort and mountain charm that’s honestly hard to find around here. Large windows frame the surrounding hills beautifully, and the beds are genuinely comfortable (which matters after a full day of hiking).
