What could be improved: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointed and Unsafe Experience – Not Luxury as Promised

My wife and I booked a premium suite with sauna and jacuzzi at Hotel Galactic Ludmila, expecting a luxury experience after a five-hour drive in the summer heat. Unfortunately, what we encountered was poor communication, lack of professionalism, and a complete absence of service.

Upon arrival around 15:00, the owner informed us that there had been a power outage, which he claimed had started just 30 minutes prior. He reassured us the electric company was working on it and it could be resolved "in 5 minutes to 3 hours." Trusting his word (and having prepaid online), we dropped off our bags, quickly used the restroom, and left to cool off at a local café — only to be told the power had actually been out for over three hours already. This raised serious doubts about the owner’s honesty.

Hoping the situation would improve, we left for a few hours to a nearby mall. When we returned in the evening, the hotel was locked down and the owner was nowhere to be found. No receptionist. No lights. Just an empty, dark lobby. Only thanks to a kind local family nearby did we learn the owner had left and wasn’t planning to return for hours. Their teenage son, doing his best to help, even admitted he would understand if we wanted to cancel and get a refund — but obviously, he was just a kid and couldn't assist further.

When we finally reached the owner by phone, he refused to speak and messaged instead, claiming there was “too much noise” where he was. This left us feeling completely abandoned and unsafe, in what was supposed to be a “luxury” hotel. We were told the power would be back within an hour, but by then we had already decided — like most of the other guests, judging by the empty parking lot — to leave. We informed him of our decision and requested a refund, as we never even entered the suite.

What could be improved: La pornirea cazii jacuzii venea un miros puternic de canalizare si apa devenea murdara. Cred ca e o mica problema de intretinere a sistemului

Șederea a fost foarte plăcută și relaxantă, ne-a plăcut mult faptul ca am avut saună privată în camera, cat și o cadă spa foarte spațioasă.
Hotelul este amenajat foarte frumos, cu elemente premium și finisaje de lux, iar curățenia a fost exemplară.
Micul dejun delicios, am avut de unde alege.
Faptul ca este în afara orașului a fost un plus pentru noi pentru ca am avut parte de multă liniște, iar stația de autobuz( care duce exact în centrul orașului Brașov), este la câteva minute. Din ce am observat, hotelul are și locuri de parcare, pentru cine vine cu mașina proprie.
Personalul amabil, nu am întâmpinat probleme.
Scaunul de masaj din holul hotelului a fost ca un bonus pentru noi, l-am folosit cu drag în fiecare zi.
Vom reveni cu siguranță.

L'hôtel est neuf et très beau, les chambres sont belles et très grandes. Petit déjeuner avec peu de choix mais d'excellente qualité. Personnel très aimable.

What could be improved: Il se trouve que l'hôtel était très en dehors de la ville, mais bon, c'était à moi de bien vérifier l'emplacement.
Nous étions en famille, 3 générations, et le fait qu'il n'y avait pas d'ascenseur a posé beaucoup de soucis à ma.mère, à mobilité difficile. Les climatiseurs fonctionnaient à fenêtre ouverte, première fois que je vois cela dans un hôtel.
