You’re actually perfectly positioned for exploring the Orava region — the famous Orava Castle is just a short drive away, and the surrounding countryside is gorgeous if you’re into hiking or just scenic drives. The location feels peaceful without being isolated, you know?
The Room Experience
My room continued the Western theme but didn’t go overboard with it — think tasteful cowboy touches rather than full rodeo madness. The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a three-star place, and the bathroom was modern despite the rustic decor everywhere else. What I appreciated most was how clean everything felt, and the Wi-Fi actually worked well (always a concern in smaller Slovak towns).
Dining & Atmosphere
The on-site restaurant is where this place really shines — they serve hearty Slovak dishes with an American BBQ twist that shouldn’t work but absolutely does. I had some of the best ribs I’ve tasted in Slovakia here, and the portions are generous. The whole saloon atmosphere makes dinner feel like an event rather than just a meal, especially if you’re traveling with kids who get a kick out of the themed experience.

The surrounding of the hotel was nice.
