You’re staying right in the heart of this charming Slovak town, which actually works out perfectly if you’re exploring the Tatras region. Liptovský Mikuláš isn’t exactly a tourist magnet on its own, but that’s sort of the point — you get authentic Slovak life without the crowds. The town center is walkable from here, and you know what, parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in bigger cities. Local buses connect you to the mountains pretty easily too.
