You’re close enough to Bran Castle (about 15 minutes) to beat the tour bus crowds if you leave early, but far enough from the tourist chaos to actually relax. The village itself is pretty authentic — you’ll see locals herding sheep and smell wood smoke from chimneys. On clear mornings, the view of the Bucegi Mountains from the property is something else entirely.
