First Impressions

Apartmány Harmony Liptov sits right in the heart of Liptovský Mikuláš, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better. When I first walked up to the building on M. M. Hodžu street, I was impressed by how modern and well-maintained everything looked — you can tell they actually care about the details here. The check-in process was refreshingly smooth, and the staff spoke excellent English, which isn’t always a given in smaller Slovak towns.

My unit had a separate living area with a comfortable sofa and dining table, plus a fully equipped kitchenette that actually had everything I needed — good knives, proper pans, even a coffee machine that worked well. The bedroom was spacious with a king-size bed that was genuinely comfortable, and I mean comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a sore back like you sometimes do in hotels.

Location & Local Life

You’re literally a five-minute walk from the main square, where you’ll find that gorgeous church and some decent restaurants. What I really appreciated was being able to walk to the Tesco for groceries — having that kitchenette means you can actually save money by not eating out every meal. The train station is close too, which made day trips to the High Tatras super easy. There’s free parking right at the property, which is honestly a blessing because finding a spot in the town center can be a real pain.

Comfort & Amenities

The apartment was spotlessly clean, and I loved having proper storage space for my things — you know how hotel rooms sometimes have those tiny wardrobes that fit nothing? Not an issue here. The bathroom had a great shower with excellent water pressure, and they provided really good towels. The Wi-Fi was fast enough for video calls, which mattered since I was working remotely for part of my stay. Air conditioning worked perfectly during those surprisingly warm September days.
