This is property with THE VIBE. Do not expect modern or posh interiors. Owner is lovely and extremely helpful. 100% recommended!

The location of the apartment is perfect for anyone who want to hike the High Tatras. Living room and kitchen are good. The apartment is also good enough for sleep, and we did not spend much more time than that inside anyway.

What could be improved: The upper part (bedrooms and bath) is not ideal for people above 1,6 meters. Everyone being higher than that is at risk hitting the ceiling with their had. Someone over 1,8 cannot even stand upright anywhere there. Showering was possible in a separate cabin in the kitchen, but toilet and sink are "upstairs", where you really have to walk around bent over.

Every morning, deer come under the windows, which are almost not afraid of people. This is additional entertainment for apartment residents.
In the apartment, we found everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Beds can accommodate 5 people. At least two more can fit on the couch.
Neat and clean.

What could be improved: Poor apartment layout is the biggest inconvenience. Low ceilings on the second floor. Especially in the toilet. You have to go to the toilet through one of the bedrooms. Another (cold) toilet is in the common corridor.
The shower cabin is located in the kitchen.
So this is a strange layout of the rooms.
The main host doesn't speak English (his son spoke English when he met us and that was fine).
By the way, most older Slovaks don't know English: you won't be able to communicate in English either at the train station or in the store. Some cafes have the advantage that the staff speak a little English.

For people who like to be in nature. House is surrounded by forrest and at the same time it is very close to the city centre with shops, and restaurants. We could come with our dog, what was great !, and he loved the place as well. There are a lot of places to go for a walk around, including beautiful trails and parks. Every night we could observe deers coming very close to our place.

What could be improved: Everything was very nice.
