The Lúčky area is actually one of those perfectly positioned spots — you’re close enough to Bojnice Castle (literally a few minutes’ walk) to feel the medieval charm, but far enough from the tourist crowds to have some peace. What I loved most was discovering the local bakery just around the corner where locals grab their morning coffee. You know what’s really convenient? The main square with its cafés and that excellent Slovak restaurant is walkable, but you’re not dealing with any noise at night.

The Space

This isn’t your typical cramped European rental. The apartment feels genuinely spacious, with high ceilings and these gorgeous original details mixed with modern luxury finishes. The kitchen is fully equipped — I mean, really equipped, not just the bare minimum you usually get. The main room has this perfect balance of elegant furnishings and actual comfort, plus the kind of lighting that makes you want to stay in with a good book.

They’ve also got this excellent sound system and fast WiFi, which matters more than people realize when you’re trying to unwind or catch up on work.
