It’s a four-star property that feels more like stepping into someone’s well-appointed mountain retreat than checking into a chain hotel.

Here’s what makes this place different — you’re getting an apartment, not just a room. Each unit comes with its own kitchenette, which honestly saved me a fortune during my stay since Truskavets isn’t exactly overflowing with late-night dining options. The apartments are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living on top of your travel companion, and the furnishings have this cozy, lived-in quality that makes you want to actually use that little dining table instead of eating on the bed.

Location & Getting Around

Sukhovolya Street is actually one of the quieter spots in town, but you’re still within walking distance of the main pump room where people come to drink the famous mineral water. The location works well if you’re here for the spa treatments — most of the sanatoriums are just a short stroll away. There’s parking available, which you’ll appreciate if you’ve driven here, because finding a spot near the town center can be a real headache during peak season.

The property has its own spa facilities, though they’re not as extensive as what you’ll find at the dedicated sanatoriums in town. Still, after a day of walking around and sampling various mineral springs, it’s nice to have somewhere to unwind without leaving the building.
