It’s close enough to everything that matters — the famous pump rooms are maybe a ten-minute walk — but far enough from the main tourist drag that you can actually get some peace. The street has this residential feel where you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning, and there’s a small grocery store just around the corner that saved me more than once when I needed snacks or forgot my toothpaste.
