First Impressions

When I first arrived at EcoBerghaus – Котеджне містечко, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with such a unique bilingual name. But driving through the Carpathian foothills to reach this four-star property, I quickly realized this wasn’t your typical mountain hotel. The collection of timber-clad cottages scattered across the hillside looked like something straight out of a Bavarian postcard — except we’re in the heart of Ukraine’s premier ski region.

The location in urochysche Preluki puts you right in Bukovel’s sweet spot, close enough to the slopes that you can practically roll out of bed and onto a chairlift. What I loved most was how they’ve managed to feel secluded while being just minutes from all the action. You know what’s really clever? The way they’ve positioned the cottages means you get these incredible mountain views without feeling crowded by other guests.
