Here’s what you need to know about the location — you’re literally steps from the Grand Square, but on a quiet side street that the tour groups don’t really find. I could walk to Brukenthal Palace in about three minutes, but come back to total peace. The nearby streets are lined with those colorful merchant houses that make Sibiu so photogenic, and there’s this little bakery around the corner that locals queue up at every morning.

Service and Amenities

The staff here actually know the city — not just the tourist spots, but where to find the best papanași or which wine bars stay open late on weekdays. They helped me book a table at this tiny restaurant that I never would’ve found otherwise. There’s no massive lobby or flashy amenities, but everything they do have works perfectly. The WiFi was faster than my connection at home, and they somehow managed to make check-in feel personal rather than transactional.
