You’re literally minutes from Ursu Lake — the famous heliothermic salt lake where locals swear by the healing properties. What I loved is how the hotel doesn’t feel touristy despite being so close to the main attractions; Strada Iuhodului is quiet enough that you actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic.

The Room Experience

My room was in one of those dome buildings, which I wasn’t sure about initially — but the curved ceilings actually create this cozy, almost cocoon-like atmosphere that works surprisingly well. The design leans modern with warm wood accents, and you know what really impressed me? The attention to soundproofing. Even with other guests around, it stayed peaceful. The views from most rooms look out over the surrounding forests, and if you’re lucky enough to get a lake-facing side, the sunsets are something else.

They source a lot of ingredients locally, which you can actually taste in dishes like their wild boar stew.
