You’re literally a two-minute stroll from Council Square, which means you can grab morning coffee and watch the city wake up before the tour groups arrive. What I love is that you’re close enough to everything — the Black Church, those narrow medieval streets, the rope street that leads up to the citadel — but the apartment feels like a proper retreat when you need quiet time. The trams clatter by occasionally, but it’s more charming than disruptive.
The Space That Works
My room had this perfect mix of modern comfort and local character — exposed beams overhead, but thankfully excellent Wi-Fi and proper blackout curtains. The kitchenette actually functions (I made coffee there every morning), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. You know what impressed me most? The bathroom was genuinely spacious, with water pressure that didn’t make me question my life choices.
Local Touches
The staff here — they actually know Braşov, not just the touristy bits. When I mentioned wanting to hike up Tampa Mountain, the receptionist sketched out a route that avoided the crowds and gave me the best views. There’s no formal restaurant, but they pointed me toward this incredible traditional place around the corner where I had the best ciorbă de burtă of my trip (trust me on this one).

The hosts were responsive and friendly. Property is in the heart of city's pedestrian area which was very convenient during the stay, but it means that luggage has to be carried on foot for a few hundred meters. Visitors should be aware of that...
The apartment is way more spacious than expected, it is clean and has all utilities you may need, it is centrally located with quick access to everything. Public paid parking can be found nearby and it is cheap. Great value and great host.
