The building itself is this beautiful traditional Romanian manor house with elegant stonework and charming wooden details that immediately caught my eye.

Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally a five-minute walk from Bran Castle, but staying on Strada Sextil Pușcariu means you get to experience the quieter, more authentic side of the village. In the evening, when the day-trippers head back to Brașov, you can actually hear the sounds of local life: kids playing in nearby yards, the occasional horse cart clip-clopping down the cobblestones. It’s that perfect balance where you’re close to everything touristy but not drowning in it.

Inside the Manor

My room was honestly better than I expected — and I had pretty high expectations given that 9.8 rating. The traditional Romanian furnishings mixed with modern touches work really well together. I mean, where else can you have heated bathroom floors and hand-painted folk art on the walls? The beds are seriously comfortable too, which matters when you’ve spent the day hiking around Piatra Craiului National Park.

They also have parking right on-site, which is honestly a blessing when you’re navigating those narrow Romanian village streets.
