Here’s the thing about staying in Budzowa — you’re about a 10-minute drive from Zakopane’s main strip, which honestly works in your favor. The location keeps you away from the weekend crowds but still close enough to hit Krupówki Street when you want that bustling mountain town vibe. I actually preferred having this quiet base, especially after spending days hiking in the Tatras.

The medical spa aspect isn’t just marketing fluff — they really know what they’re doing here. Their treatments blend traditional Polish wellness approaches with modern techniques, and the staff includes actual medical professionals. What could be improved: Beds not too comfortable. No air-conditioning so it was very hot even with windows open. Poor sound insulation. Not a spacious room. Difficult enough to reach Zakopane.
The people at the hotel were the most wonderful I’ve ever had the pleasure to be with. I booked the room late in the day, too late to schedule for dinner. They went out of their way to make sure I had something to eat. After supper, the front desk...
What could be improved: Wifi was very poor, had to use my own data transfer, the bathroom basic, the staff at the reception desk was unavailable at times.
To sum up, the hotel and food were not a good value for money.
