The lobby has this warm, mountain lodge feel that immediately tells you you’re in Zakopane, not some generic city hotel.
Location & Getting Around
You’re literally in the heart of everything here — I mean, Sienkiewicza is one of those streets where you can walk to the main pedestrian area in about three minutes. The Tatra Mountains loom right there in front of you, which never gets old, and you know what? You can actually see them from most windows. I found myself constantly surprised by how easy it was to grab breakfast and then be on a hiking trail within twenty minutes.
The Room Experience
My room was exactly what you’d want after a day of mountain adventures — clean, comfortable, and with enough space to spread out your gear. The furnishings lean toward that modern Polish mountain style (think warm woods and earth tones), and the bed was legitimately comfortable. What I really appreciated was the practical stuff — good shower pressure, reliable heating, and windows that actually open properly when you want fresh mountain air.
Wellness Facilities
Here’s where this place really shines, and why that 8.9 rating makes total sense. The pool isn’t huge, but it’s perfectly adequate for unwinding, and the water temperature was spot-on every time I used it. The sauna though — that’s the real star. After spending hours hiking around Gubałówka or wandering through the old town, sinking into that dry heat felt like exactly what my muscles needed. They keep it properly hot too, none of this lukewarm nonsense you sometimes get.
