Location & Getting Around
Sibiu proper is about a 15-minute drive away, and while that might seem inconvenient, it’s actually pretty manageable. The hotel runs a shuttle service, though I’d recommend checking the schedule because it’s not constant. What I really appreciated was how easy it made exploring the wider Transylvanian region — you’re perfectly positioned for day trips to places like Brașov or even the Carpathian Mountains without dealing with city center traffic.
The Room Experience
My room was standard four-star fare — clean, comfortable bed, decent-sized desk if you need to work. The soundproofing is actually better than I expected, considering the airport proximity. You’ll get a modern bathroom with a proper shower, and the WiFi works reliably throughout. Nothing fancy, but everything functions as it should, which is sometimes all you really need after a long day of travel.
Dining & Amenities
The on-site restaurant serves a mix of international dishes and Romanian classics — I had a surprisingly good ciorbă de burtă (tripe soup) that reminded me why I love Romanian comfort food. Breakfast is your typical hotel buffet, but they do include some local touches like fresh bread and regional cheeses. There’s also a small fitness center and what they call a wellness area, though it’s more basic than spa-like.

Breakfast was really disappointing. Serving staff for breakfast are were also not the greatest. And the dinning area was cold . Reception and cleaning was top notch though
They organized a taxi from airport for me, via an exchange of emails. (A very reasonable GBP (£) 6 for the short journey... at 1am)) Gave me a suite or two rooms, when I'd only booked a single room. Breakfast good. A large group of mountain bikers...

Warm welcome and v close to the airport so I walked and even at 1.30am I felt safe. Hotel room v comfortable and warm room with lovely duvet. Breakfast was great.

I liked that it was clean, and actually the room was prettier than in the photos. The bed was very comfy and the sheets very clean. The breakfast was also good, a large variety of foods.

The room was clean and big. The breakfast has more than enough options and the restaurant staff is nice. Big parking lot if you are coming with a car. What could be improved: It’s in no way a 4 star by Accor standard, a good willing 3 star maybe....
