I particularly loved their breakfast spread, which includes local highland cheeses and honey from nearby apiaries. The common areas have these massive stone fireplaces where guests naturally gather in the evenings, sharing trail stories over local beer. It creates this authentic mountain lodge atmosphere that feels genuine rather than manufactured.
