You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the main pedestrian area in Zakopane, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos all evening. I mean, Krupówki street is right there when you want pierogi and shopping, but you can actually get some peace when you retreat back to your cottage. The location makes it stupidly easy to catch those early morning hikes up to Morskie Oko — something most visitors don’t realize is crucial if you want to avoid the crowds.

The Cottages

Each cottage has this authentic mountain feel without being rustic to the point of discomfort. My room had those thick wooden beams and traditional highland touches, but also proper heating and a surprisingly good bathroom.
