The Dream House of Racos

Nestled amidst tranquil surroundings, our stay at this charming abode proved to be an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly neighbor that gave us the key.

Upon stepping inside, it was evident that cleanliness was a top priority. Every corner exuded a sense of freshness, making us feel instantly at ease.The space seemed thoughtfully arranged to cater to our needs.

For a couple seeking a cozy getaway, the accommodation exceeded expectations. The ambiance was intimate yet spacious, providing ample room to unwind and relax. Whether enjoying a leisurely evening indoors or basking in the serene outdoor surroundings, there was never a shortage of comfort.

Being able to bring along our large dog added an extra layer of joy to our experience. It was heartening to find a pet-friendly retreat that welcomed our furry friend.

In summary, our time spent at this exceptional property was nothing short of perfect. From the impeccable cleanliness to the accommodating host and pet-friendly amenities, every aspect contributed to a truly memorable stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this haven to anyone seeking a peaceful escape.

The whole property is very charming, the rooms are very large and comfortable and the yard is spacious and a little retreat from the sun. It's Pet friendly which is why we chose it, the yard is secure but I would be cautious and supervise smaller sized dogs as the gate does have some gaps towards the street. The host was very gracious and helpful and the Racos Geological complex was a great visit (also pet friendly).
The kitchen is separated from the house, downstairs and is the coolest room in the house during the heatwaves, they have everything you need to cook with and an outdoor Bbq. Highly recommended if you are traveling with dogs or without.

I liked the surroundings, the house is located in a quaint village with friendly and helpful Hungarian inhabitants.

What could be improved: 1. The kitchent is outside the house, I consider it is unconfortable to get out of the house for going to the kitchen, especially when the weather is like these days, chilly.
2. In the bedroom the ciling lamp didn't work , so, there was no light. There were two small lamps on the night tables but which gave a diffused light, one couldn't read.
3. The most disturbing was that because of a damage of the chimney , trying to make the fire, the house became full with smoke. Consequently, there was no heat in the kitchent all the period we stayed and five days we slept in a strong smell of smoke.

As a conclusion my opinion is that this house is fit for those with pets but even so the price is too high for what one offers. Probably guests who rated with 10 are friends of the owner, from my point of view.
If there were not extremely helpful neighbours like mr. Andrei ( a Hungarian), I would have rated lower.

Liniște și răcoare într-o casă săsească. Camere imense, baia mai mare decât camerele :) Un pat cu o saltea atât de moale în care am adormit instant. Ne-am băut cafeaua cu plăcere în fosta bucătărie de vară transformată într-o terasă. Un cocoș din vecini ne-a fost partener zilnic :) Bucătăria e dotată cu de.toate. Curtea este mare, încap lejer două mașini. Am mâncat la un restaurant foarte aproape de casă, Rozi, unde am găsit un gulaș gustos.
